• This is Part 4 of a four-part Introductory Japanese course taught over 4 school terms specifically designed for recent learners. Our language and culture courses focus on teaching and learning only, and we do not expect you to study outside of class nor do we assign homework (unless you'd like some!). Come and spend 12 class hours per Term (eight 1.5 hour weekly classes) learning Japanese and about Japanese culture, and have some fun too! All of our language classes are designed for busy people.
• The fourth part of our Introductory Japanese 104 course continues its focus on learning hiragana and katakana scripts, writing and reading practice, and includes continued grammar, vocabulary, conversation and comprehension.
Basic everyday vocabulary and expressions continue to be taught, always with a view to empowering learners so that they feel encouraged to build their own sentences and be able to make some conversation.
• Our Instructor will guide you through a foundation of the Japanese language with many visual and audio materials.
• Subsequent Term courses continue with Intermediate Japanese (i.e. our Japanese 201-204 courses) and continue to include additional reading and comprehension practice, intermediate grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and conversation and will continue in the same time slot for the duration of the full course.
